Cosplay is one of those things that people do in spite of the fact they don't a) know how to sew b) look anything like the person they're impersonating c) have anything that looks like what the person they're impersonating wears.

Despite all of that, there are some cosplayers who are REALLY GOOD. Some are even professional, traveling from Japan to compete in the US. They wow us, and we decide to cosplay, crappily or not.
