Live Subtitling, or Livesubs, were introduced to the club by Dylan Hall in 2001 with Revolutionary Girl Utena - Adolescence of Utena. Livesubs are subtitles overlaid raw R2 DVDs with a computer, taking subs either written from scratch or transcribed subs from digisubs. This was introduced to help those in the club not fluent in Japanese understand the subtitle-lacking R2s some members collected.
